MUSSO E600 SE Office Chair Review
Now understood as one of the most important things for getting work done and taking care of your body, the humble office chair has been wheeled into the 21st century, highlighting comfort and a healthy posture to support hours of sitting. This one, the MUSSO E600 SE, has been designed specifically for women, so we’ve been using it at the studio for the past month or so to find out if it’s genuinely helpful in this regard or just a product of some clever marketing.
Design
The MUSSO E600 SE makes an immediate impression with its substantial, slightly executive-style presence. We need to emphasise the fact that this is a large chair, both in seat width and height, which makes it a strong contender for those seeking extra space and support when sitting. The SerenityWing headrest is optional, as it can be removed if you’d like a leaner chair. We found some comfort derived from using the chair in ways we don’t think were intended, which we’ll mention later. That said, its sheer size may feel overbearing in smaller rooms or when paired with more compact desk setups, so consider your space before committing.
The mesh construction of the backrest is both stylish and functional—ideal for warmer climates or hotter office environments, something which we’ve had a lot of as the year warms up. It really allows for better airflow and helps to reduce heat build-up and perspiration during extended use. A fold-out leg rest and an included headrest make this chair particularly appealing for taller users or those who like to switch up their sitting position throughout the day.

Assembly
Assembly is refreshingly simple for a chair of this calibre. The MUSSO E600 SE was up and running in just 15 minutes with just one person assembling it; with clear instructions and no awkward steps. It’s a straightforward process, and there is an enormous printed guide to follow with very clear illustrated steps.

Comfort & Productivity
The MUSSO E600 SE really stands out for its highly customisable fit, designed to accommodate a wide range of body types and working styles. You get adjustable seat height and depth, letting you dial in just the right position, whether you’re sitting upright at your desk or shifting into a more relaxed posture. Conversely, reaching that perfect position can take some time, and while we’ve been sharing the chair here at the studio, it’s really best suited for one person to use consistently so the adjustments don’t need constant readjusting. The 4D armrests are a real highlight — they move in all directions: height, width, depth and pivot angle. This means you can tailor the armrests perfectly to how you like to type, lean, or lounge, which is a huge plus if you spend long hours at your desk and need that ergonomic flexibility.
One of the most important features is the three-way adjustable lumbar support system. It adapts well to the natural curves of your spine, providing firm yet comfortable support that’s especially beneficial for women’s posture. This support doesn’t just help reduce discomfort during long periods of sitting but can also improve productivity by keeping you properly aligned and focused.
The CozyCloud front seat cushion adds another layer of comfort. Made with high-density elastic foam, it gently conforms to your body’s contours, offering a soft yet supportive base that encouraging healthy blood flow even during extended sitting sessions; no one who tested the chair had that feeling of their legs or torso going to sleep or getting cramp.
When it comes to build quality, the E600 SE feels impressively solid. The frame has zero wobble or creaking, which gives a reassuring sense of durability and reliability. Rolling the chair across different floor types is smooth and effortless — even on thicker, fluffier carpets it glides without issue, which is often a challenge for many other chairs. This smooth mobility combined with the sturdy frame really shows the thought that’s gone into the engineering of this chair.
On the downside, the armrest padding is noticeably firm and leans towards a plasticky texture rather than a soft, cushiony feel and is not actually as good as the Slouch Task One Chair we previously reviewed, which boasts plush arm padding. However, given the overall ergonomic focus of the design, it’s a minor trade-off and one that could well be improved in the future.
Where the E600 SE truly shines is during extended work sessions. The breathable mesh back is a game changer for comfort, keeping airflow going so you stay cool, even during long, intense days. The chair also reclines up to a maximum angle of 125°, allowing you to lean back and relax without sacrificing posture or support. And what about the fold-out leg rest? Well, it’s surprisingly functional. It supports your legs right at the knees, encouraging good posture even when you lean back to take a break. One charming quirk that some users here have discovered is that if you’re on the petite side, you can comfortably cross your legs while sitting, using the leg rest for extra support. It’s a small detail, but it opens up a new, relaxed way to sit in an office chair — something not many designs accommodate.
Verdict
The MUSSO E600 SE confidently meets its claim as a serious ergonomic chair designed with women’s posture and comfort in mind, offering good stability, comfort, and thoughtful ergonomic features. The executive-style frame offers generous seat width and height, and solid support. However, it might feel bulky in smaller rooms or with compact desks, so consider your workspace before committing. Overall, we’ve found comfort and support from the E600 SE design over long work days, with its breathable materials and versatile adjustments being well-suited to long periods of work at the desk.
